The most popular form In this post, I want to present to you a few well-known English poets and their poetry in their own words and share with you some of my favorite quotes from them.

The Way I Waited
The way I waited
In the school corridor,
Knowing you won't come,
I check your number
Late at night now,
Knowing you won't come.
The way my eyes
Wandered in search of you
In the empty streets,
They still wander
In the empty streets,
In the fully empty building.
The way I apologized
For mistakes that weren't mine,
To calm you down,
My unheard apology try to reach you
For mistakes that aren't mine,
To calm you down.
The way I made you laugh
To break your guilt-stricken,
Regretting silence,
I still put unseen efforts
To break your guilt-stricken,
Regretting unknown silence.
The way I sensed
When you felt too low,
Miles apart now,
I still dream of you,
Converse with you
When you feel too low.
